My interests span across games / books / films / and music, and all of this is woven into my passion for D&D, and other TTRPGs! From the gothic / dark fantasies of Bloodborne, Dark Souls, and Game of Thrones, to the more traditional D&D fantasies of Critical Role and Baldur's Gate 3, fantasy is hewn across my interests and hobbies and I hope that I can kindle familiar loves for fantasy at any table I DM at.
Amidst this love for fantasy is an equal love for sci-fi, horror, and a plethora of other genres that I have dabbled with across different, and oftentimes homemade TTRPGs. Above all else, I mainly look to make fun and memorable shared narrative experiences with folks who love these things as much as I do :)
How I run games
Over the years I have played for a real variety of folks, and always try and find a balance between giving the players what they want, and weaving this into my style of storytelling. Whether you are a seasoned player, or have never played before, I will always meet you at your level and try deliver the type of session you want, with my own flavor woven throughout!
I was a theatre kid, so I put a lot of energy into my characters and world. If roleplay is something you want, you will totally get it, but if you aren't as up for that don't worry - I will use roleplay to elevate the world and vibes, but not put you under any sort of pressure to give back if you aren't up for it.
I specialize in running one-shots or campaigns in my own homebrewed world, which can lean very much into a grimdark / horror vibe IF that's something you are into. If you want something more low stakes and traditional D&D, that is totally doable too.
Get to know me
The plan I spent weeks on that lasted four minutes…
I designed an entire floating criminal sky city that the party immediately blew up, causing a year long war between the criminal factions that they were suddenly thrown head first into.
The best session I ever ran was…
After a traumatic swamp cult arc, my party celebrating a wedding of the strange hick swamp elf faction they helped to liberate, and it genuinely felt like a real wedding night that we all speak very fondly of
The villain I got too attached to…
The once royal heir, now lead conductor of a martially trained elven orchestra army known as the Usurper Choir who play in tandem as they battle. My party simply thought he was too hot and ended up siding with him and his cause
