How I run games

I try to adapt to any table. From the Rule of Cool, letting players stand up and really let them act out a couple of seconds as their characters, to nudging the more silent player to thinking more cinematically and get them involved as well. Self-made hand-outs for immersion: yes!

Game systems I run

  • Dungeons & Dragons

    • High Fantasy +7
    • 1 – 7 players
    • Moderate rules

Forge your own fantasy tale with Dungeons & Dragons. Create a party of bold heroes, outsmart traps, bargain with dragons, and claim treasure in vivid worlds. Think the fellowship spirit of The Lord of the Rings, only you choose the paths, the battles, and the ending.

  • Ten Candles

    • Tragic +7
    • 3 – 6 players
    • Light rules

Ten Candles is a one‑shot, tragic horror story told in a room lit by candles. With each scene, another light goes out and the darkness closes in. Think The Mist, but everyone knows it ends badly, and that is what makes the journey gripping.

  • The Quiet Year

    • Post-Apocalyptic +7
    • 2 – 4 players
    • Light rules

Guide a struggling community through one year of rebuilding before the Frost Shepherds arrive. The Quiet Year is a gentle, post-apocalyptic map-drawing story game for reflective one-shots. Think Station Eleven, but you sketch the world as you go.

Get to know me

The best session I ever ran was…

the one with the face-hugging mask that seemed to be irremovable.

What I'm still getting better at…

is prepping the pre-game (the introduction) almost like a script, and ticking boxes.

The moment I knew I wanted to be a Game Master…

is realizing years after our own DM had to quit and the whole group fell apart, that I was able to continue the magic of collaborative storytelling myself.
