Hi hi, I'm Amber!
I'm a philosophy graduate, lover of art, anime and the arcane.

A few things about me:
One of the things that inspired me to start playing role playing games were books. I loved to read when I was little and I often found myself glued to the pages. I think that the Fantasia Series by Geronimo Stilton were my first encounter with fantastical worlds and ever since reading them I had a veracious appetite for all things supernatural, fantasy and magical.
My greatest wish is also to invoke that moment of true excitement and discovery to all those who sit at my table.

Even though I love all different kinds of fantasy, my heart lies in horror. To me horror is a genre only possible when someone, maybe just a bit, believes in a fantastical world where there are still mysteries beyond reason. And I think that comedy and whimsy are not opposite to horror but they exist together can amplify the other.
Not that all my campaigns have true grotesque horror. I love a good lighthearted story;)

Lastly I am somewhat of a maximalist when it comes to creating and telling stories. I often make use of miniatures and figurines which I print and paint myself. I am an artist at heart, and I just love creating whether that be writing or making illustrations of fantastical characters. (You may have seen my beloved Shrimp, a dragon and doglike character, as my picture).

What players say about Amber

  • Nice and clear first experience with D&D. Amber knew how to clearly explain and guide the game, so we as players quickly got into the flow and could focus on the story. Thinking up attack routes together with my colleagues was a fun activity and gave good insights into each other's character, way of thinking and differences. Overall I found it a very enjoyable session.

  • Amber is a top DM! We had never done it before, but within no time we were in her world and didn’t come back out until three hours later.
